Job summary

OhioHealth's Riverside Methodist Hospital is seeking a Staff LPN for the Medical Unit 1, a part-time night-shift role with weekend and holiday rotation. The LPN provides nursing care across the health-illness continuum, collaborates with the care team, and follows the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• LPN license required (Ohio).
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Must have completed Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
• Plan and coordinate nursing care with the health care team; individualize care plans.
• Evaluate responses to interventions and update the care plan as needed.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed staff following state guidelines and supervise.
• Participate in process improvement, safety, and patient advocacy on the unit.
