Job summary

CFG Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift to provide direct nursing care under supervision. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and assist with care plans in a safe, compliant environment.

This role requires NJ LPN licensure, CPR/BLS, and strong teamwork to coordinate with RNs and physicians. The position includes every-other weekend and rotating Monday/Friday schedules with a $2.00 night differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current, active LPN license in New Jersey.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, physician orders, and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor and record vital signs and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Assist RNs or physicians with assessments and care planning.
• Collect specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes; implement infection control.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR/EMR.
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to supervising staff.
• Maintain safe, clean, therapeutic care environment and adhere to HIPAA/OSHA.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
