Job summary

Covenant Living Illinois is seeking qualified LPN/LVN to support nursing care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. This part-time night shift (10:30 pm–6:30 am) focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care under nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves supervising nursing assistants, coordinating with the Nurse Manager, and providing direct resident care. A generous benefits package accompanies employment in our faith-based community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
• Current license in good standing as an LPN/LVN in the State.
• One year nursing experience.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of nursing assistants.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff to maintain a high quality of care.
• Provide direct patient care including procedures as required.
• Communicate observations and concerns to the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing.
• Observe residents and report significant changes to physicians and families.
• Record and transcribe physician orders for diets, therapy, medications, etc.
