The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.

Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and become licensed as an LPN.
• Possess or obtain an active LPN license in the state and/or multi-state licensure.
• Clinical experience across the life span or equivalent hours required.
• IV therapy/management training as applicable in North Dakota.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care and administer medications per care plan.
• Assess residents and document interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
