Job summary

Palm Valley Post Acute is seeking an LPN for night shift (6p-6a) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and work under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to maintain the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, maintaining documentation, administering medications, and coordinating with other departments to ensure residents’ needs are met

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and related nursing documentation.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify resident identity.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel on the night shift.
