Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services in Owensboro, KY is seeking an RN or LVN/LPN for night shifts to supervise CNAs and support total resident care by implementing physician orders, medications, and tests. You will use the nursing process to assess care plans, develop individualized plans, document needs, and coordinate therapy, with a focus on safe, economical use of supplies.

Current license in state, minimum 1 year nursing experience for RN or 2 years for LVN/LPN is required; we offer a competitive salary,

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing with valid RN state license, and a minimum of 1 year nursing experience; or LVN/LPN with 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess resident care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans.
Implement physicians' orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and tests.
Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
Coordinate nursing care with therapy and other departments.
Report and record observations and reactions; assist in emergencies.
