Job summary

National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department. You will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from illness, injury or surgery, supporting an interdisciplinary team and following individualized care plans.

The role emphasizes administration of treatments, medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by collecting data for RN analysis.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including wound care; may administer medications.
• Document patient care provided.
• Assist RN with development of plan of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status with RN, physician, patient, and family.
• Advocate for patient physical and emotional well-being.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
