Job summary

National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Medical-Surgical to join our full-time day team. You will assess patients, administer treatments, document care, and support RNs in planning and delivering high-quality care.

The role requires an active LPN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and a preference for at least one year of experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

Current state LPN license.
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients by collecting data for RN analysis.
Perform plan of care interventions, including wound care; may administer medication.
Document patient care provided.
Assist RN with development of plan of care.
Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/units as needed.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
