Job summary

JourneyPure at The River is seeking a Night Shift LPN-Inpatient to provide high-quality nursing care in a residential and detox setting. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and maintain EMR documentation while ensuring patient safety during 7p–7a shifts and every other weekend.

The role collaborates with recovery staff, on-site medical providers, and the multidisciplinary team to maintain a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, detox, or residential care strongly preferred.
• Experience administering medications and maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments for detox and residential patients, including vitals and withdrawal monitoring.
• Provide patient education related to medications and health plans.
• Respond to medical or behavioral emergencies following facility policies.
• Complete accurate medication passes during assigned hours and ensure proper storage/labeling.
• Keep detailed EMR documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Recovery Coaches and on-call providers to coordinate patient care and med-pass flow.
