Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift in York, PA. This full-time position runs 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with every other weekend required, in a structured inpatient setting focused on substance use and behavioral health treatment.

You will conduct assessments, administer medications, and support detox protocols using COWS and CIWA scales while collaborating with medical staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current or pending LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Passion for working in behavioral health and substance use treatment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nursing assessments for new admissions.
• Administer medications and provide patient education.
• Assist with detox protocols utilizing COWS and CIWA scales.
• Collaborate with medical providers on assessments and medication management.
• Ensure medical equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
• Support overall patient care and safety.
