Zusammenfassung

JourneyPure is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality care for patients in a residential and detox setting. The Night Shift (7pm–7am) is full-time, with every other weekend, collaborating with recovery staff and on-site providers to maintain a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication passes, accurate EMR documentation, and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox, or residential care strongly preferred.
• Experience administering medications and maintaining accurate EMR documentation.
• Knowledge of CIWA/COWS assessments and withdrawal protocols preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Patient Care & Monitoring: Perform initial and ongoing assessments for detox and residential patients, including vitals, CIWA/COWS scoring, and withdrawal monitoring.
• Medication Management: Complete accurate and timely medication passes during assigned hours; administer medications, insulin, and PRNs per orders and policy.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed EMR documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and facility standards.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with Recovery Coaches to coordinate patient movement and med-pass flow; report safety risks and compliance issues.
