CorrectHealth, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift in Macon, GA, onsite at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. The LPN will participate in patient care with the healthcare team and law enforcement, under supervision, providing quality care in a correctional setting.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, current LPN license for the state, and BLS certification; corrections experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as an LPN in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certified.
• Corrections experience a plus.
• Required: BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in clinical aspects of patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement.
• Performs duties under supervision of RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or administrative supervision of the HSC.
• Provides quality care and responds to needs within the correctional environment while maintaining nursing standards and ethics.
