Job summary

Centurion in Georgia seeks a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at Macon State Prison. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope and work under RN and medical/psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

The role requires an LPN license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Day shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.
