Job summary

CorrectHealth currently has an exciting full-time day shift opportunity for an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Appling, GA.

The LPN participates in clinical care with healthcare team and law enforcement, under supervision of RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, or Physician, while maintaining nursing standards in a correctional environment. Eligible candidates must hold an LPN license and BLS certification; Corrections experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state approved nursing program.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties under supervision of RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, or physician.
• Provides quality patient care within a correctional setting.
• Maintains nursing standards and ethics per state boards and accrediting agencies.
