Job summary

Kensington Senior Living, LLC in Bethesda, MD, is seeking an Overnight LPN to join our assisted living and memory care team at The Kensington Bethesda. This full-time regular role provides direct nursing care to residents and supports medication management under a medical provider.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of nursing experience, an active LPN license, strong geriatric knowledge, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience.
• Current LPN/LVN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, EHRs).
• Strong knowledge of geriatric care, dementia care, chronic disease management, and resident-centered care models.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document medications and assist with administration.
• Maintain organized medication carts and pass medications accurately.
• Monitor medication inventory and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Follow controlled substance procedures and proper disposal of medications.
• Report concerns to Director of Nursing and maintain accurate Resident records.
• Assist with scheduling physician appointments and care plan adjustments.
• Contribute to emergency procedures and provide first aid/CPR if required.
• Maintain confidentiality of Resident and Community information.
