The LPN participates in clinical aspects of patient care with the healthcare team and law enforcement, under supervision of an RN or other supervisors, delivering quality care in the correctional environment.

Formación

• Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as an LPN in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certified.

Responsabilidades

• Provides quality patient care in the correctional environment under supervision.
• Works with RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, or physician to deliver care.
• Maintains nursing ethics and adherence to State Board of Nursing rules.
