CorrectHealth currently has an exciting full-time night shift opportunity to join our growing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Amite , LA ! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the clinical aspects of the patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement.

Performs duties under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Corrections experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in a correctional setting.
• Collaborate with RN, HSA, mid level providers and physicians.
• Maintain nursing standards per State Board of Nursing and accrediting bodies.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the clinical aspects of the patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment. Maintains standard and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.

Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program. Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS certified. Corrections experience a plus.
