Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of West Chester is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift 7pm-7am, bi-weekly cycle. The LPN will provide nursing care within a multidisciplinary team under RN supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with Joint Commission and state regulations.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, medication administration, assisting with ADLs, patient de-escalation, and guiding new staff as a preceptor. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN/LPN license in the state of employment.
• Compact licenses are acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality nursing care to a group of patients under RN supervision and unit policy.
• Documents all findings accurately in the patient record and communicates assessment results.
• Implements care plans and performs prescribed nursing procedures.
• Conducts bedside laboratory testing, wound care, and assists with ADLs.
• Administers medications safely and provides patient education on medications.
• Provides leadership as a preceptor to new staff.
