Pine Meadows Healthcare Center in Bolivar, TN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care for residents. Shift: 7p-7a; Starting wages: $25.00-$36.50 per hour.

You will document residents’ conditions, implement physicians’ orders, assign care to team members, and supervise junior staff. Requires LPN/LVN license in state and CPR; one year of nursing experience preferred.

Medical, dental, vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and flexible pay options are offered.

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in state employed.
• CPR certification required.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members according to needs and capabilities.
• Supervises and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as required.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is safe.
• Reports pertinent observations and resident reactions.
• Coordinates nursing care with therapy or procedures from other departments.
• Interviews applicants and participates in staff counseling and discipline as permitted.
• Supervises nursing unit scheduling and staffing within scope.
• Maintains inventory and communicates needs for housekeeping or dietary support.
• Performs other assigned tasks.
