Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the state.
• At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs medication administration and reports adverse reactions per policy.
• Records patient information and vital signs.
• Monitors equipment and interprets electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective action for adverse symptoms and provides bedside care.
• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs.
• Aids physician during examination and treatment.
• Responds to life-saving situations and participates in discharge planning.
• Maintains timely, accurate care documentation.
