Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Northern Virginia Adolescent Treatment Center in Chantilly, VA is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to join the team for the night shift. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience. Work hours are 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area is preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license and CPR certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice and care plan objectives.
• Provide for the basic comfort of patients and implement nursing interventions as identified in the plan of care.
• Report status changes and concerns to registered nurses and physicians; communicate with patients, families, and staff professionally.
• Maintain thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patient symptoms, responses and progress.
• Ensure safe delivery of medications in accordance with policies and physician orders.
