Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a full-time LPN for Day or Night shifts at Life Center of Galax in Virginia. The role focuses on nursing care, patient safety, and collaborative care in a residential/ detox setting. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

The LPN will monitor patients, administer basic care, document progress, and work with RNs and physicians to ensure high-quality treatment and safety for all clients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• One year (or more) nursing experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and provide basic nursing care within the LPN/LVN scope.
• Maintain patient safety and report status changes to RNs/MDs.
• Document patient symptoms and progress accurately.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy and physician orders.
• Support patient comfort and care plan goals.
