Geisinger is hiring an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts at Geisinger Medical Center. This full-time role comes with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $40,000 in financial support for RN transition.

As an LPN, you will ensure quality patient care, coordinate effectively with the healthcare team, and engage in patient education. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage starting day one, alongside paid time off and support programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse and Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Ability to work under a temporary practice permit until taking the NCLEX examination.

Responsabilités

• Contribute data to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Promote adaptive responses of patients or families to achieve the highest level of care.
• Exhibit compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
