Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center Muncy invites experienced LPNs to join our inpatient team on the night shift. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and up to $40,000 in RN school support, with up to $5 shift differentials for evenings, Nights, and weekends.

You'll provide direct patient care, coordinate with the care team, and participate in discharge planning and education, while pursuing professional growth within Geisinger’s supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes data to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinate patient care and staff interactions to maximize safety and satisfaction.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments and medications per policy.
• Precept and mentor new staff and students as assigned.
• Participate in unit-based decision-making and evidence-based practice utilization.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient/family education.
