Job summary

Geisinger Health System in Scranton is seeking an inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and up to $40,000 in support to become an RN. Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials up to $5 are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program–Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Willing to work nights, 7pm–7:30am, with every other weekend/holiday.

Responsibilities

• Contributes data to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patient/family to achieve safety and satisfaction.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Collaborates with physicians and other staff to resolve patient needs.
