Job summary

Mercy Health’s Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN for night shifts, delivering safe, patient-centered care under supervision to support acute care needs.

You will perform direct nursing tasks, assist with care planning, conduct phlebotomy, administer prescribed meds, and collaborate with the care team. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited LPN program, and active licensure in Ohio; BLS is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical patient care experience in acute care, long-term care, or related setting.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in state of Ohio (or active license in process).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing care under supervision of RN or physician.
• Assist with plan of care and patient/family input.
• Perform phlebotomy services as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
