Job summary

The role focuses on loading, unloading, and moving materials using heavy industrial forklifts and other mobile equipment, following production schedules and safety rules. Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, loading/unloading conveyors, maintaining accurate production records, and assisting with inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of English (written and verbal).
• General math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts, overhead cranes, and other mobile equipment safely and perform pre-use inspections.
• Load/unload materials and move them to designated locations per production schedule.
• Assist with inventory management, count bundles, and restock materials.
• Perform quality checks (paint color, squareness, length, saw cuts, bar quality) to ensure prime material.
• Maintain production records (paper forms, scanning devices) and support continuous improvement.
