Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associates Degree or higher preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Logistics Operations environment preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (EWM) and SAP is preferred.
• Able to use Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
• Clear communication via phone and email.
• Must exhibit urgency and resolve transactions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations by assigning workload in SWOP/SAP EWM Warehouse Management System for inventory, IB/OB functions.
• Use PINC/SWOP yard management to arrange trailer moves and align doors for shipping/receiving.
• Perform periodic audits on PINC, BOL, ICC and Quality; ensure compliance when filing BOLs.
• Communicate workload vertically and laterally to meet daily objectives.
• Resolve flow issues raised by frontline employees to minimize downtime.
• Compile daily workload and past-due carrier reports for outbound appointments.
• Ensure procedures are followed by frontline staff and internal/external sources.
• Support operational initiatives and projects to reduce costs and improve service.
• Follow facility SOPs and participate in mandatory training.
• Support inventory control and fill rate to ship 100% to customers.
• Maintain site security after hours and perform other duties as assigned.
