Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Loading, Shipping, and Receiving Associate for the Day Shift at our Lexington, TN site. The role is full-time/permanent with a 6:30am–4:30pm schedule and overtime expected.

Base pay starts at $18.25 per hour with a quarterly gainsharing bonus program. You will read production orders, manage material handling using crane and tools, and ensure productivity and quality standards while maintaining safety and communication within the team.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding production orders
• Maintaining productivity and quality standards
• Effective communication with team, supervisor and management
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Read and understand a production order
• Meet productivity requirements
• Meet quality requirements for materials produced
• Use crane and hand tools for material handling
• Document materials produced accurately
• Communicate with Team, Supervisor and Management
• Maintain promotability to Operator II/III
• Stand/walk 8–12 hours daily
• Climb on/off equipment and ladders as needed
• Work in varying outdoor conditions (hot/cold/rain) and ensure safety standards
• Read a tape measure and other measuring devices
• Lift up to 60 pounds continually
• Forklift and crane experience a plus
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed
