Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide essential basic nursing care on the night shift. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities, taking vital signs, and supporting clinical staff in a high-demand environment.

The role requires NH LNA licensure and a High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in clinical or medical office settings is preferred; cross-training to scrub into OR for C-sections may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Nursing Assistant (LNA) license as NH Board of Nursing required
• 1-2 years clinical/medical office or managed care experience preferred or Nursing Assistant experience 0-1 year preferred
• Knowledge of patient rights, privacy and confidentiality; good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting
• Take vital signs, obtain specimens, observe and report information, and provide basic first aid
• Cross-train to scrub into OR to assist with C-sections
