Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care on the night shift. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, document care, and support the care team to ensure comfort and safety for patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• LNA NH license required by New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in patient care/elder care preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, weights/heights, I&Os with accuracy and timely.
• Document care in the medical record per policy.
• Interact with patients and families professionally.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, eating, toileting.
• Assist with turning, repositioning, transfers, and bed mobility.
• Report health concerns to nurses for timely intervention.
