Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (Non-Certified) to join our Night shift team. You will support RN staff with basic patient care, assist with transport, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in the acute hospital setting.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and state-approved Nursing Assistant training. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, with state-approved Nursing Assistant training course completion.
• May include military equivalent or fundamentals semester of nursing school.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care in nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.
• Transport and transfer patients within the facility using proper equipment.
• Assist nursing staff with lifting and ambulating patients following safety guidelines.
• Maintain environment and equipment, deliver necessary items to Central Service and Maintenance.
• Communicate and document information accurately with the health care team.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and unit staff meetings.
