Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Haul Driver in Florida to safely transport live birds from company farms and ensure timely deliveries. You will operate and inspect hauling equipment, adhere to schedules, and follow safety, biosecurity, and company policies to support production needs.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, maintaining truck cleanliness, and clear communication with farm staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months.
• Positive drug/alcohol test in the past 5 years disqualifies
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Must be able to operate a manual CMV
• Good hand-eye coordination and safe driving practices

Responsibilities

• Operate live haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain product quality and integrity during transport.
• Communicate effectively with associates, maintenance, growers, and supervisors.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean, neat, and orderly.
• Pick up each flock as directed.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and required PPE.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
