Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the Lipids team on a Mon-Fri schedule (3rd shift 12am–8:30am). The role involves following Quality System documents, maintaining ISO 17025 standards, and supporting daily sample assaying and testing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 0–3 years experience, and a basic understanding of ISO17025 guidelines. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and life and disability

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities, e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, Methods, and Local Policies.
• Adhere to appropriate quality measures per ISO/IEC 17025 and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in daily assaying of samples and perform testing from a daily work list.
• Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples.
• Record test data and results in logbooks and enter into eLIMS accurately.
• Maintain a neat and accurate record system for quality control and regulatory purposes.
• Keep a safe, clean laboratory and dispose of hazardous wastes per procedures.
