Qualifications

• Requires some high school education.
• Previous experience in a related food service position is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old due to safety regulations.
• Customer service background and orientation required.
• At least 1 year of related Line Cook experience in senior living, hospital, hotel, or similar setting preferred.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals using established recipes and production procedures.
• Determines quantities and food supplies required for production.
• Ensures availability of supplies and substitutions in time for prep.
• Sets steam table and stations; assists serving in dining areas as needed.
• Follows HACCP and sanitation standards; maintains personal hygiene.
