Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services seeks a Light‑Duty Tow Truck Driver for the night shift to support customers with professionalism and safety. You will operate light‑duty tow equipment, perform inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to deliver reliable roadside service while maintaining high standards of customer care.

This full‑time role requires 21+ and a valid driver’s license; CDL is not required. Night/weekend availability and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent); CDL not required.
• Local residency preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude; drug screening and background checks required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to operate tow equipment safely.
• HazMat or air brake endorsements and CMV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel-lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status, delays, hazards, and customer needs.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure customer safety.
• Complete required paperwork and digital logs accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment.
• Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays.
