Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Technician to provide nursing care to psychiatric patients under RN supervision, implementing and evaluating the plan of care while carrying out assigned tasks within a multidisciplinary team.

Must hold California Psychiatric Technician Licensure and CPR-BLS, with at least 6 months of inpatient psychiatric experience. Night shifts, weekends and holidays are required, with on-site work at the LA campus.

Qualifications

• CPR-BLS certification required.
• California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required.
• At least 6 months of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write standard English; communicate with patients and staff.
