Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Lead Patient Transporter to join our team. Our Patient Transporters provide assistance with direction in prioritizing and coordinating the workflow of the Transport staff. Assigns duties as necessary to accomplish completion of daily functions. Performs all Lead Transporter functions as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work schedule: FTE: .7 (28 hrs. weekly), Night Shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prefer three months of experience in working with the public.
• One year experience as a patient transporter or six months experience working out of class as lead transporter.
• Two years of post-secondary education or one year of other leadership experience will substitute for lacking transport experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with directing and prioritizing workflow of the Transport staff.
• Assign duties as necessary to accomplish completion of daily functions.
• Perform all Lead Transporter functions as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
