Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Lead Patient Transporter to join our team. The role focuses on directing and coordinating the Transport staff workflow, assigning duties and performing lead transporter functions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prefer three months of public interaction in a health care setting.
• One year as a patient transporter or six months in lead transporter role.
• Two years of post-secondary education or one year of leadership experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks for transport staff.
• Assign duties to achieve daily tasks.
• Perform lead transporter duties as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
