Job summary

Barrday Inc. is seeking a Lead Machine Operator for the night shift at our Millbury, MA facility. You will lead a small production crew, set up and run equipment, and ensure safety, quality and on-time production targets.

You will delegate tasks, monitor processes, input data into ERP, and coordinate with the next shift. A minimum of 2 years as a machine operator in manufacturing is required; good communication in English and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years machine operator experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read/interpret math and conversion factors.
• Strong English communication and safety awareness.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work with hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversees startup, operation, cleanup and shutdown of a variety of equipment.
• Assigns tasks to crew members to ensure timely production runs.
• Verifies ERP settings and input materials to meet specifications with minimal adjustments.
• Operates hoist, forklift, pallet jack and performs daily inspections.
• Packages and labels materials per documentation requirements.
