Job summary

Labcorp in RTP, NC is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader to oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring accurate test results and adherence to SOPs. The shift is Wednesday–Saturday nights, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with supervision, maintain instrumentation, and ensure quality control. A Bachelor's in a chemical/biological science and 4+ years of lab experience are required, with ASCP/AMT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 4+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• State license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor with day-to-day operations of the department.
• Prepare and review test results to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Train new hires and support staff development.
• Monitor instrumentation and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and CLIA requirements.
• Document preventive maintenance and quality control activities.
