Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to uphold maintenance and operational readiness across packaging and processing equipment. You will train fellow mechanics, reduce downtime, and ensure adherence to food safety practices.

The role involves preventative maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with teams to keep plants running smoothly. Evening/night shifts may apply, onsite in Chambersburg.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of advanced mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and emergency maintenance on food packaging/processing equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders; maintain records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical/electrical issues.
• Repair/rebuild pumps, mills, gearboxes and related equipment.
• Train other maintenance mechanics and document training.
• Oversee CIP processes and ensure proper documentation.
