Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance (Starship) for the night shift to lead a diverse team of technicians in maintaining Starship assets. You will collaborate with the maintenance manager to drive reliability improvements and ensure maximum asset availability for Starbase manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on leadership, prioritizing work, coordinating with vendors, and applying LEAN principles, 5S, and data analysis to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team and managing projects.
• 5+ years of technical experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience installing, aligning and commissioning automated production cells in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians through daily repairs and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate workload and resource allocation for Starbase manufacturing.
• Triage maintenance requests and manage priority workloads with available resources.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for parts, training and on-site actions.
• Apply 5S and LEAN practices and analyze KPIs to improve asset reliability.
