Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance (Starship) for the night shift in Brownsville, TX. You will lead a diverse technician team on Starbase manufacturing assets, driving reliability, preventative maintenance, and rapid issue resolution.

You will oversee PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and tooling while mentoring technicians and coordinating with vendors. Willingness to travel and all-shift availability are required.

Qualifications

BASIC: High school diploma; 2+ years leading a team; 5+ years in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical repair.
PREFERRED: technical assoc. degree; aerospace production cells experience; Siemens PLC familiarity; CAD or mechanical design.
Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics; writing repair reports; safety compliance.
Ability to travel up to 10% and work all shifts with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with maintenance manager on asset reliability and maintenance demand drivers.
Lead technicians through repairs, preventive actions, and continuous improvement projects.
Manage weekly workload and assign tasks to technicians.
Triage maintenance requests and resource management across available assets.
Coordinate with third‑party vendors for parts, documentation, training, and actions.
Provide leadership in troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, actuators, valves, pumps, gearboxes, and sensors.
