Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking a Lead Custodian for the UC Irvine Student Center and satellite facilities. You will lead custodial teams, operate a range of cleaning equipment, and ensure all areas meet university standards.

Qualifications

• Lead small work groups and direct custodial staff.
• Clear communication of instructions from supervisor.
• 1-3 years custodial leadership experience.
• Experience in restroom, carpet, and hard floor care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Understand safety and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead custodial staff and supervise in manager's absence.
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain facility cleanliness.
• Set up and dismantle furniture and equipment for events.
• Ensure security of area and master keys.
• Coordinate with supervisors and collaborate with teams.
