Job summary

Kerry Group in Clark, NJ is seeking a Night Shift Lead Operator for the Taste Division. You will supervise day-to-day operation of the assigned department, oversee shift reports, train staff, and ensure quality, GMP and safety standards are met.

Must be able to work Sunday to Thursday 10:30pm–6:30am and move between buildings handling allergen controls. This onsite role requires lifting up to 80 pounds, operating forklifts, and SAP/ERP proficiency; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO,

Qualifications

• HS or equivalent experience.
• Must be proficient in all areas of the assigned production department.
• Must be proficient in the use of all related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures department production needs are met regarding quality, GMP and Safety.
• Keeps the immediate supervisor informed of relevant activities on shift and takes corrective action when required.
• Works with operators and production supervisors to ensure smooth transition between shifts.
• Ensures operators follow acceptable practices in relation to their roles and responsibilities.
• Identifies potential safety issues and coordinates resolution with HS&E.
• Trains staff to identify and correct problems and develop team members.
• Flexibility to move between shifts to conduct training and cover vacancies.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
