Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Lead Casino Cleaning Attendant to supervise cleaning and maintenance teams during night shifts. The role involves training new hires, maintaining cleanliness standards, and assisting with payroll, scheduling, and inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as cleaner in EVS or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer applications skills.
• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures.
• Length of time in position to become proficient.
• Highly successful performance review.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs. and perform related movements in varying spaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all cleaning and maintenance operations and department personnel during assigned shifts.
• Supervise the cleaning, follow up of maintenance, and repair of all facilities and equipment.
• Contribute and assist in the evaluation of employee performance reviews.
• Provide and administer all new hire training.
• Maintain key control.
• Be involved with scheduling, payroll and inventory, and purchasing procedures, but not solely responsible.
• Be accountable for follow through with department walk through, special cleaning projects, and the maintaining of departmental cleanliness standards.
