Job summary

Sysco Resources Services, LLC is hiring for a night shift warehouse role in the United States. You will build and stage orders, operate a forklift, and work in freezer, cooler and dry environments while meeting productivity standards.

Responsibilities include layer picking, pallet handling, inventory checks, and maintaining safety and housekeeping in the warehouse. Valid forklift certification and ability to lift heavy items are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must be able to observe and to communicate observations verbally and in written form to others responsible for the equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Layer Picking with forklift: transport pallets of product safely between staging areas following PWMs.
• Pull/Put away product using MHE, primarily a reach forklift.
• Inspect product for shortages, damage or deterioration and report to supervisor.
• Secure pallets with shrink wrap for delivery to door or staging area and rack storage.
• Build pallets in Ti/Hi configuration, label quantities and rotate stock by date codes.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow PWMs and safety rules.
