Job summary

Sysco Charlotte is seeking a Forklift Operator to stock received merchandise, operate electric forklifts, and move pallets in the cooler, freezer, and dry spaces. This full-time role requires attention to safety, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50–80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with HS diploma/GED or 6 months warehouse experience.
• 6 months warehouse distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights as required.
• Basic reading, math and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operates electric forklift to move pallets in cooler, freezer and dry spaces.
• Unloads/loads pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Stores/removes pallets from rack locations and places products in overflow areas.
• Maintains clean work environment, assists with end-of-shift transfer to Home slot.
