Job summary

Sysco in Front Royal, VA is hiring for a night-shift warehouse associate responsible for building small pallet orders by hand and staging them for outbound loading. The role requires frequent lifting and operation of a reach forklift in freezer/cooler environments.

You will use RF devices to locate products, verify quantities, and stack pallets in Ti/Hi configurations while following PWMs. Certification for forklift operation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Effective communication with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Ability to observe and report conditions to equipment operators.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets in Ti/Hi configuration and verify quantities and product.
• Transport pallets between staging areas using MHE.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage and report issues.
• Ensure pallets are secured with shrink wrap for safe delivery.
• Operate RF equipment and follow PWMs for order building.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety rules.
